Silicone Enclosure Heaters

Silicone enclosure heaters are ideal for enclosures that are exposed to very low temperatures and contain electrical or electronic components that require freeze or condensation protection.

The heating circuits of these units are wire-wound resistances placed between silicone layers. The silicone heaters are vulcanized to a 1/16” thick aluminum plate with mounting holes. These heaters are supplied with or without an air sensing snap-action thermostat molded over the heater.

Silicone enclosure heaters have Teflon insulated lead terminals. The standard temperature rating for units that are supplied with thermostats is 60°F.
